Vocabulary Game
We would like to tell you a little bit about our class “Vocabulary Game” and how it works. First, we review the vocabulary words posted online. Next, the person whose name is listed on the board sits in Mme Boudreau’s chair and picks a word from the bag and the students have to guess the word. The person sitting in the chair says, “Qu’est-ce que j’ai dans la main?” (What do I have in my hand?) A child guessing must say “Est-ce que c’est…” (Is it…) and then the word. Whoever guesses the word will be the person to choose a word the following day. This game looks a little different online compared to when we are face-to-face, but the end goal is still the same. This game promotes asking questions and allows your child to practice their French vocabulary.
